CABPRO's Mission Statement:

“In order to strengthen and restore Northern California’s economic freedom and prosperity, and to maintain its healthy environment, CABPRO works for lower fees and taxes, less government regulation, and preservation of property rights for all residents, and business, property, and resource owners.”

Why Does CABPRO Exist?

CABPRO was established in 1993 when some residents of Nevada County saw property rights, limited government, and common sense get replaced with a big government, environment-only focus.  These special interest groups had plenty of help from agenda-driven outsiders.  Founders of CABPRO were faced with a choice  - either tolerate the changes and see the traditional way of life disappear, or become organized and start building a base of political support to restore a balance.

Since those early years CABPRO has evolved into a resource center for projects and programs focused on educating and empowering citizens in the Sierra Nevada Foothills Region of Northern California regarding their rights and responsibilities under the Constitution of the United States of America.

CABPRO can best be described as a ‘lone voice’ for conservative values, limited government, the rights of business, property and resource owners in Northern California, which is awash with hundreds of non-profit organizations promoting liberal values, extremism and agendas that threaten the infrastructure and fabric of American culture.  Regional media sources and educational institutions focus on liberal agendas, issues and values so CABPRO has stepped forward to thwart such unbalanced agendas to add a conservative voice into the discussion.
